Confirmation – All orders will be confirmed by email, which will include the online order number. Online customers will then be notified by email on despatch of their order. Please quote your online order number in any correspondence.
Cancellation/changes – If you wish to cancel or change an order, please call +44 (0) 1202 013072 or email firstname.lastname@example.org Under the distance selling regulations you have the legal right to cancel your order within 7 working days of receipt of the goods. To cancel a purchase you must first notify us in writing by mail or email, a telephone call is not sufficient.
Out of Stock items – We endeavour to keep all items in stock. However, there may be times when demand is high and/or we may not have your particular size, colour or design or part available in stock. Under these circumstances you can Pre-Order items which normally ship within 7 working days. We might also pass on your delivery address to the manufacturer/supplier who in turn will use this to arrange delivery via their chosen courier. Otherwise you will be notified as soon as is possible if there is a delay in the despatch of your order. All items are sold strictly ‘subject to availability’.
Payment – We accept Paypal and most major credit and debit cards online or in our shop – please see the checkout for accepted cards. Orders/Payments over the phone - we can only accept credit cards, not debit cards. Normally payment will be taken at checkout. All prices are quoted in GB Pounds. Local currency prices can be found using an Internet currency converter.
For your security all card payments are processed by a specialist payments provider who are PCI compliant.
Occasionally we may need to ask for further information like a utility bill or photographic identification to accompany a purchase. This is if we cannot do the necessary fraud checks with the information provided. Please understand this is to protect you from fraudulent transactions and any information provided is used in strict confidence.
All payments are processed in GBP, any orders placed in other currencies are charged in GBP with an exchange rate calculated by your issuing bank - while exchange rates listed on our site are correct 99% of the time, however sometimes there will be a slight variation. If you are ordering from outside the UK you may be liable for additional international bank fees, if in doubt check with your issuing bank.
Returns Policy – If you are unhappy with your purchase you may return it to us for a refund within 14 days of receipt of the goods, providing the item is unused and reaches Vickers Motorcycles in an unused saleable condition with tags attached and original immediate packaging. Your refund will be in the form of the payment method used at the time of ordering and may take up to 14 working days. This applies to online and personally collected purchases. Please complete a Returns Form. Please make sure that all returns are packaged correctly. Vickers Motorcycles cannot accept responsibility for items damaged during return. For your protection, we recommend that you use a recorded-delivery service for returning the goods. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the items to us unless we delivered the item to you in error, or if the item is damaged.
We do not accept returns for any motorcycle helmets sold through this website.
Please notify us before returning goods either by phone on +44 (0) 1202 013072 or by e-mail email@example.com Failure to do so may see packages refused delivery and returned to mailer. Please include sender’s name, address and phone number along with a copy of the original receipt and a reason for return.
If you are returning an item because of an error on our part or because it is damaged, we will be happy to refund the delivery charges incurred in sending the item to you and we’ll also reimburse your costs in returning it to us.
Damaged or Defective products – Vickers Motorcycles must be notified within three days of despatch from Vickers Motorcycles if a product is being returned with either a suspected manufacturing defect or having been damaged in transit. This is in order that the warranty procedure can begin with the manufacturer or courier. Notification after this time may result in the warranty being invalid. Please telephone or email during working hours.
Exchanges – Customers wishing to exchange a non-faulty item for an alternative product will be responsible for returns to Vickers Motorcycles, and will be charged a standard charge for re-shipping. Exchanges may take up to 14 days, depending on availability.

Returns from Outside UK/International Returns - If the goods are shipped internationally, you will be charged shipping again if you want to exchange the item. Returned goods must be accompanied by a completed Returns Form. Returned goods must be unused & supplied with their original packaging. We cannot accept returns of items that have been personalised i.e Helmets. Goods must be returned with relevant promotional/free gifts.
**Please note - The customer is wholly responsible and liable to pay any re-import duties, taxes, handling fees etc. for goods returned from outside the United Kingdom.**
You must mark all returns as RETURNED GOODS – FAILED SALE. This must be clearly marked on the customs information document you are also required to submit (CN22 and/ or CN23) AND on the outside of the packaging. IT IS NOT SUFFICIENT TO SIMPLY SEND THE GOODS BACK TO 'VICKERS MOTORCYCLES' - Customs/UK Border Force will need proper supporting documents to justify not charging taxes upon the goods re-entering the UK. Failure to do this will result in unnecessary import taxes and VAT being charged. Either the parcel will be refused by us and returned to you by the carrier or we will be obliged to pay the carrier on your behalf, which will be deducted from any funds returned to you.
Please DO NOT ship back by Fedex, this results in extra customs charges, even as a return. Your parcel will be returned to you.
WHEN WE ARE IN RECEIPT OF YOUR RETURNED GOODS: We usually process refunds or exchanges (subject to availability) within 5 working days of receiving the returned goods. Refunds - Funds will be returned via the original payment method. This may take up to 5 working days to appear as cleared funds depending on the payment method used. Once exchanges are dispatched you will receive a text notification from the courier.
